I am a postdoctoral research associate in UCL working with Prof. Nick Lane. My current work is focused on investigating the origin of life at alkaline hydrothermal vents, in particular what the first cell membranes may have been like. My research interests include origin of life, biogeochemistry, prebiotic chemistry, palaeontology, palaeoclimatology, astrobiology, and archaeological science.
