Mathematical modeller in evolution & ecology of cancer
I use mathematical and computational models to investigate evolutionary and ecological systems. Recent research projects, in close collaboration with laboratory scientists, have focussed on cancer risk, tumour evolution, and new ways to prevent drug resistance. My methods include agent-based models, analysis of dynamical systems, game theory, matrix population models, and Bayesian data analysis.
The Nature Ecology & Evolution Community provides a forum for the sharing and discussion of news and opinion in ecology and evolutionary biology. Through posts, discussion, image and video content, the community space can be used by members to communicate with each other, and with editors, about topics ranging from the fundamental science itself through to policy, society and the day to day life of the research community. It is also a place to learn more about the activities of Nature Ecology & Evolution's editors and the policies and practices of the journal.
